Why should I work with you?

Alongside being a high performer in many areas of my life, I have always been deeply interested in methods that harmonize body, mind, and ultimately the soul. My strong conviction is that the most meaningful growth happens when we learn from individuals who embody and practice what they teach. In addition, my scientific background, combined with more than a decade of experience in the corporate world, enables me to understand and relate to clients working in demanding professional environments in general. This blend of scientific thinking, practical application, and holistic methodologies allows me to address modern challenges from multiple angles and offer valuable, sustainable impulses that support a long-term improvement in overall quality of life.

What is Coaching and what happens there?

Coaching is a professional advisory service provided by accredited coaches. The fundamental idea of coaching is to reflect, self-develop and co-create approaches and strategies to foster personal growth, self-efficacy and mental health or to reach a specific personal or professional target. Thus, coaching constitutes a process which is guided and supported respectfully on eye level by the coach. The coach herein is caring detached and thus asking the right questions to increase the understanding of the topic. The main objective of each coaching session is to create a space where key insights and impulses for personal progress can emerge and the best possible process as well as result for the client can be achieved. My coaching sessions follow the principle of ensuring and maintaining the client´s self-determination, self-efficacy, independence and freedom of choice at any time within the process. The process is timely defined, individually adapted to the respective topic and situation as well as solution, resource, target and future oriented.

Discretion as a Coach? Will my data be shared with 3rd parties?

As a Life & Business Health Coach the professional secrecy does not apply as it is the case for physicians or priests! However, confidentiality of the personal data and content of the coaching and consulting sessions is guaranteed by fulfilling the data protection regulations (DSGVO). Furthermore, a transfer of data (personal or content of the sessions) will not take place without permission of the client.

What is NOT part of `Life & Business Health Coaching´? What has to be considered?

Coaching differs from consulting and therapy. Thus, in the process the coach will neither formulate directives which the client has to follow nor will an anamnesis & diagnosis be obtained or a therapy started. For the treatment of relevant medical topics (physiological and psychological) such as childhood trauma, ADHD, depression, severe cases of burnout (severe state of exhaustion or suicidal), anxiety disorders, eating disorders, obessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PSD) and other forms of medical condition the consultation of a medical doctor specialized for the respective field is necessary! Thus, medical treatment or therapy are NO part of coaching. However, coaching alongside a running therapy might constitute a good option if the desire of change is located in a different area than the medical condition. One exception to this principle is burnout. Here, coaching and a (psycho-) therapy can together be very beneficial for the client because future strategies and approaches are co-created during the coaching session which complement the therapy and thus support the healing process. x no nutrition counseling x not a leadership consulting service (consulting can be booked separately) x no personnel training x not applied for senseless selfoptimization x no replacement for a psychotherapy x not medical studies x no qualification of the coach to medically diagnose and treat illnesses x no training to become a missionary, healer, guru, oracle or sharman x not part of public health x not covered by the health insurance benefits x not to create a lifelong dependency of client and coach x not a new ideology to solve all problems at once and cure all illnesses x no promises of wonders or never achievable goals x …

Often we sense that a certain topic cannot be ignored any longer, a (life or business) situation is not meeting our needs anymore or somehow have the feeling that something is off. By intense and in-depth elucidation of the particular topic, the formulation of specific further questions and application of internationally renowned and established coaching methods by the coach, a space is created in which the client (coachee) can develop optimal and best fitting strategies and approaches. What is resilience and why is it important?

The term resilience has its origin from the material sciences and describes the property of a certain material to return into the initial position after deformation (application of a force). The first research about psychological resilience was published in the 1970s by N. Garmezy (1). A psychologically resilient person can resist adverse mental conditions that are often associated with unfavorable life circumstances. Thus, resilience (a process that involves a specified mindset (2)) allows a person to rebound from adversity as a strengthened and more resourceful person (3). Resilient people are better equipped to navigate life's challenges, maintain positive emotions, and recover from setbacks. They demonstrate higher levels of self-efficacy, optimism, and problem-solving skills, which contribute to their ability to adapt and thrive in adverse situations (4). Research on psychological resilience has shown that it plays a crucial role in promoting mental health and well-being.

What happens during a consulting session?

Consulting means exchange of experience and proactively receiving advice from the consultant. Thus, consulting sessions stand in contrast to the coaching sessions in which the coach demonstrates restraints and works with established coaching tools and follows a renowned procedure while asking the right questions. Within the consulting sessions the right questions will be asked to increase the mutual understanding and get an optimal overview of the situation. Additionally, experiences for topics such as mutual understanding in the team, employee development and motivation, optimizing team performance while considering and involving the individual employee skills are shared and discussed with the client. The strategies and approaches will be proactively developed as a team (client and coach), discussed and collaboratively rated.

What is Hatha Yoga?

Hatha Yoga originated around the 11th–13th century in India, with texts like the “Hatha Yoga Pradipika” systematizing its practices. Unlike Vinyasa Yoga, which links movement fluidly with breath, Hatha Yoga focuses on slower, static postures and controlled breathing techniques. It is generally less dynamically demanding than Vinyasa but can still be physically challenging depending on the sequence and duration of the poses.

What is Vinyasa Yoga?

Vinyasa Yoga emerged in the 20th century, drawing from traditional Hatha foundations but focuses on continuous, breath-synchronized movement. In contrast to Hatha Yoga’s slower, static approach, Vinyasa links postures in flowing sequences that create a more dynamic and cardiovascular practice. It is typically more physically demanding than Hatha Yoga due to its pace, transitions, and sustained movement.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga was developed in the 20th century by Paul Grilley and constitutes a slow-paced form of Yoga practice. The soothing Yin Yoga classes are centered around stillness and inner exploration during long holds (2-7 minutes) of the body postures (asanas). Tibetan sound healing, also known in the Western world as “Sound Bathing”, uses singing bowls whose vibrational frequencies resonate through the body, promoting deep physical relaxation and releasing muscular and energetic tension. The rhythmic, harmonic tones help calm the nervous system and support a shift into alpha brain waves, a state associated with reduced stress, improved mental clarity, and deepened inner awareness. This practice offers a gentle yet effective method for balancing body and mind, enhancing overall well-being through sound-induced meditation.

Why do you offer Coaching in combination with Yoga practices?

Personally I have experienced the benefits of Yoga practices which supported me during profound personal happenings and events. With the help of different Yoga practices the body awareness & sensation is increased, mindfulness is practiced, the muscles are lengthened and strengthened and at the same time the joint mobility is increased. To increase the awareness and body sensation significantly increases the self-perception and can support the client optimally during the change process and beyond. Furthermore, it constitutes a valuable option to develop a healthy and sustainable routine which helps to relax the body and mind and can easily be applied and relied on at any time. The calmness of the mind and thought processes after Yoga practice helps to make conscious, sustainable and thoughtful decisions.

Why do you offer online instead of in person Yoga classes?

Based on my experience over the past years teaching both online and in person yoga classes, I can confidently say that the emotional connection, effectiveness, and overall intensity of personalized sessions remain fully intact in an online setting. Clients consistently report that their individual needs are well addressed, while also highlighting the added benefits of flexibility in time and location, allowing them to maintain their yoga practice even while traveling for vacation or business. Depending on proximity and preference, it is of course always possible to book an in person yoga session as well.
